PAOK Submits Official Offer for Giorgos Giakoumakis

PAOK has reportedly submitted an official offer to Cruz Azul for Giorgos Giakoumakis, aiming to strengthen their attacking line. According to «Primesport», the offer concerns a loan for the 30-year-old international striker with an option to buy.

«The Two-Headed Eagle of the North» is looking for a striker ahead of the new season, and Razvan Lucescu has given the «green light» for the acquisition of the former Celtic and Atlanta United player.

Giakoumakis is reportedly positive about returning to Greece and is pressuring the Mexican team to complete the transfer. He has a contract until 2028, but the collaboration does not seem to be desired by both parties.

Wearing the Cruz Azul jersey, Giakoumakis has recorded 36 appearances, 9 goals, and 7 assists.
