Dele Alli's football career is on the decline, with his stint at Como in Serie A nearing its end. The 29-year-old midfielder, without a team since July 2024 after leaving Everton, signed with Como on January 19, 2025.

According to a report in "Gazzetta Dello Sport", coach Cesc FĂ bregas does not count on Alli, forcing him to train individually. Alli has not participated in pre-season friendlies and was left out of the squad for matches against Lille, Al Ahli and Ajax.

Alli and FĂ bregas' relationship was strained, with Alli being sent off with a red card on his debut for Como on March 15. Milan defeated Como 2-1 in that game.

Due to the challenges in his career, Dele Alli is seriously considering retiring from active football before he turns 30. His market value has dropped from 100 million euros to 2 million euros.

Before the decline, Alli had successful seasons with Dons and Tottenham. He was an international with the England national team from 2015 to 2019, with 3 goals in 37 appearances. In 2022, he moved to Everton and was loaned to Besiktas.
