Azzedine Ounahi thanks Panathinaikos, explains Girona choice

Azzedine Ounahi has completed his transfer to Girona, signing a contract for the next five years. The 25-year-old Moroccan midfielder, who played for Panathinaikos last season, thanked the team in a message on social media.

Specifically, Ounahi stated: "I would like to thank Panathinaikos for the amazing season. Thank you to the staff, teammates and fans for their trust and support. A big thank you to the coach and technical director for their help. I am grateful for the offer I received to stay, but my goal was La Liga and I achieved it thanks to the excellent season. Panathinaikos will always be a milestone in my career."
