Nikolic: "We could have finished the qualification"

AEK coach Marko Nikolic spoke ahead of the return leg against Hapoel Beer Sheva for the second qualifying round of the Conference League. Nikolic stressed the need for maximum concentration and stability in defense and attack.

"We must show the maximum level of concentration from the first to the last minute. We must not give gifts and we must play for the result," Nikolic stated.

Referring to the first game, he said: "I felt that we could have finished the qualification. 1-0 doesn't mean much, especially with the change of the regulation. We will not go in to defend the 1-0 but to score goals."

From the players' side, Robert Ljubicic stated that the team has analyzed the opponent well and is ready to create problems.
