Marko Nikolic expressed his satisfaction with AEK's performance in the 3-0 win over PAOK, emphasizing the importance of fan support and urging the team to remain focused.
The Serbian coach paid tribute to Razvan Lucescu and his players, highlighting the strength the team draws from its fans. Despite the victory, he stressed the need to stay grounded ahead of the playoffs.
In his comments, Nikolic stated: "I want to express our condolences to Lucescu for his father. It was an excellent afternoon. It was an impressive performance after the match with Rayo. Nothing is over yet. There are still four matches left."
Referring to the team's performance, he said: "It's a team of warriors from the beginning of the season. There is tremendous chemistry between fans and the team. There is strength in the relationship with the fans, which makes us overcome any physical fatigue."
Regarding the injuries of Mantalos and Jovic, he said: "Mantalos is injured and Jovic has a slight discomfort."
Regarding whether the victory was pivotal for the title, he stated: "We remain grounded because we will have to fight in the derbies to come. We have an eight-point advantage."
