Driver Who Ran Over Liverpool Fans Faces New Charges

The driver who ran over Liverpool fans during celebrations for winning the Premier League now faces 24 new charges. Paul Doyle, who had already been charged with seven offenses, appeared in court again on August 24.
The new charges relate to the injuries of the fans, including charges of attempted bodily harm against two infants. Doyle appeared via video call from prison and showed no remorse. His lawyer requested more time to process the new charges. The trial was adjourned to September 4.
The 53-year-old now faces a total of 31 charges.
