Benitez: "The first goal we conceded ruined everything"

Rafa Benitez stated after the 2-0 defeat by Olympiacos that Panathinaikos lost everything after the first goal. He noted that the "Greens" must fight only for victories until the end.

Panathinaikos suffered a 2-0 defeat by Olympiacos at Leoforos and remained -8 from the 3rd place of the Stoiximan Super League playoffs.

After the end of the match, the coach of "Trifili", Rafa Benitez, stated that the first goal his team conceded ruined everything.

The Spanish coach said to Cosmote TV: "It was an open game but we gave the first goal ourselves, so it ruined everything. We had possession, we made some shots, we knew that we would find a team dangerous on counterattacks in front of us and of course the development was not what we wanted.
