AEK coach Marko Nikolic expressed his satisfaction after his team's 1-0 victory over Olympiacos at Karaiskakis Stadium, in the context of the Super League 1 play-offs. In his statements, he emphasized that his team managed to lock down Olympiacos' game and gain a significant advantage.

"It was the first match and I knew it would be difficult. We played for the result and we succeeded. We were able to lock down Olympiacos' game, we had a very good presence and I think my team performed very well," Nikolic stated.

Regarding the continuation, Nikolic stressed the need for calm and preparation for the next game against PAOK. "We need calm, tomorrow we will do our recovery and look at the match with PAOK. We are grounded and continue," he said.
