Ljubicic: "I thank the team and my family for their support"

Robert Ljubicic thanked his team and family for their support after AEK's 5-0 victory over Panaitolikos. The Croatian footballer was the protagonist of the match, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

Speaking to Cosmote TV, Ljubicic referred to the difficult months that preceded, emphasizing that the team needed time to adapt to the demands of the new coach, Marko Nikolic. He also expressed his satisfaction with his new position in the team, stating that he is happy when he gets playing time.

"We knew that games are not easy at Panaitolikos' home ground. We had control of the game. We knew the first goal would come. After that the game… opened up. We continue. We must keep that in mind. I am very happy for the victory," Ljubicic said.
