Leverkusen Stumbles at Gladbach, Draws 1-1

Leverkusen's winning streak came to an end with a 1-1 draw against Gladbach in the 21st matchday of the Bundesliga.

Engelhardt opened the scoring for Gladbach in the 10th minute, capitalizing on defensive lapses. Leverkusen equalized in the 44th minute with an own goal by Sander, after a shot by Garcia.

In the second half, Leverkusen's Schick hit the post in the 49th minute. Despite pressing, Leverkusen failed to achieve the comeback and settled for a draw.

With this result, Leverkusen is in 5th place in the standings with 36 points.
