Greek Referees Thank Gagatsis and Lannoy for Cup Final Appointment

Greek referees have expressed their support for the appointment of Evangelou for the Betsson Cup final, through a joint statement. They also expressed their gratitude to the president of the EPO, Mr. Gagatsis, and Mr. Lannoy of KED for choosing an all-Greek refereeing team for the final.

In their statement, the referees emphasized that the tournament matches were officiated by Greek teams, with the exception of the Big 4 games, where foreign VAR officials were appointed. They considered this choice as a sign of confidence in Greek refereeing.

The referees pledged to continue working consistently and professionally to live up to the trust placed in them.
