Eliasson: "We leveled the match and now everything is open"

Niklas Eliasson, AEK's scorer in the match against Anderlecht for the Conference League playoffs, told Cosmote TV that his team leveled the match and everything is open for the return leg in Nea Filadelfeia.

The Swedish midfielder referred to the crucial saves of Thoma Strakosha and the support of the fans.

In detail, Eliasson stated: "Anderlecht is a very good team, we knew what we would face, we saw their intensity, they came in strong, created chances, Thoma saved us and gave us confidence, there is one more match left, everything is open."

Regarding the changes in the team, he said: "As I said, Anderlecht has many quality players, they showed their quality, we didn't press as much as we should have, then we leveled the game, there is another match left, everything is open."

About the goal he scored, he stated: "It was a very good feeling, 1-0 was a difficult result, we tried to score, we had our chances, I happened to help the team and the truth is that everyone is very happy."

Finally, regarding the support of the fans, he emphasized: "We all appreciate the support of the fans, everyone was singing from the first minute to support the whole team, not just one football player."
