According to Bild, Erik Ten Hag left Leverkusen having received six million euros for just two months of work.

The Dutch coach managed to sit on the team's bench in three games – two in the league and one in the Cup – before the management decided on Monday to remove him, following disappointing performances and negative results.

This case has caused discussions in Germany, as many speak of one of the most expensive and short-lived coaching stints in the Bundesliga, with Ten Hag leaving richer but with his prestige certainly damaged.
