Antoine Griezmann will continue playing for Atlético Madrid, according to the club's sporting director, despite recent rumors of his departure.

Despite rumors linking him with a move to MLS and Orlando City, Mateu Alemany, sporting director of the Rojiblancos, stated that Griezmann is an important part of the team and will honor his contract.

"Griezmann is a legend of our team. He has a contract with us and will stay with us," Alemany stated.

The 34-year-old forward was instrumental in the team's journey to the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona.
