AEK close to agreement with Marko Grujić for midfield

AEK is close to acquiring Marko Grujić to strengthen its midfield. The 29-year-old Serbian is expected in Greece to complete his transfer to the team.

Grujić has agreed to all terms with AEK and is expected to undergo medical examinations and sign his contract. AEK has reached an agreement with Porto, from which the player will be acquired as a free agent.

Grujić had an Achilles tendon injury, but has fully recovered and has been training with Porto for the past two months. He has also discussed his collaboration with the team with Nikolić and Ribalta.

Grujić was Jürgen Klopp's first signing at Liverpool. After impressing on loan at Porto, the team acquired him for a sum exceeding 10 million euros.
