AEK Close to Agreement with Marko Grujić for Midfield

AEK is expected to strengthen its midfield with the acquisition of Marko Grujić. The 29-year-old Serbian midfielder is expected in Greece to complete his transfer to the club.

Grujić, who has agreed to all terms with AEK, is expected to undergo medical examinations and sign his contract. AEK has reached an agreement with Porto to acquire him as a free agent, under favorable terms.

Grujić had faced an Achilles tendon injury, but has now fully recovered and has been training at full speed with Porto for the past two months. He has also discussed the framework of cooperation with Nikolic and Ribalta.

Grujić was Jurgen Klopp's first signing at Liverpool. Porto had paid 9 million euros to buy him, after an initial loan spell.
