AEK vs Atromitos: Why a Postponement Couldn't Be Requested

Despite AEK playing between two European matches against Celje, there was never any thought of requesting a postponement of Sunday's game in Peristeri.

Marko Nikolic has made it clear from the outset that he does not want postponements before or after European games, wanting the team to maintain a steady rhythm.

However, even if the Union wanted to request a transfer of the match, this would not be possible. Matchdays 24, 25 and 26 of the Super League cannot be moved under any circumstances, as there are no available dates on the calendar to be held before the start of the Play Offs.

Thus, AEK is heading normally to the match with Atromitos, knowing that the schedule is 'tight', but without room for changes.
