Andrea Trinchieri was officially presented as the new coach of PAOK, although he will take over the reins of the team at the end of the season. In his first interview, the Italian coach referred to his goals, emphasizing PAOK's desire to compete in the Euroleague.

Trinchieri spoke about the club's "strong man", Aristotelis Mystakidis, and his vision for the team. "He told me he wants to give back to the city, to bring PAOK back to days of joy," he said.

Referring to his decision to take over the team from the summer, Trinchieri explained that he wants to strengthen the organization and lay the foundations for the future. He also expressed his enthusiasm for the prospect of competing against Olympiacos and Panathinaikos in the EuroLeague.

"I'm excited and looking forward to seeing what happens this year, in the most unpredictable season of all time. If Panathinaikos finds a way, they will do something amazing. Olympiacos is there every year. They do whatever it takes to be competitive. They do everything. There is no mercy in the EuroLeague, you have to be the best you can be, every day," said Trinchieri.
