Sakota: "A Psychological Victory Ahead of Final Four"

Dragan Sakota stated after AEK's victory over Badalona in the Basketball Champions League quarterfinals that it was a psychological victory ahead of the Final Four.

AEK defeated Badalona at the "hot" Sunel Arena, paving the way for qualification to the Final Four. Sakota emphasized the importance of good preparation for the away game, despite the victory.

"Spanish teams are fast and in good physical condition, which does not favor our game. We should have been better prepared, but it is pleasing that we reacted correctly in the second half. The players deserve congratulations because they spent a lot of energy, as there are injury problems and our options are limited. It was a psychological victory ahead of the Final Four," Sakota noted.
