Panathinaikos: Bodiroga Banner Removed from Telecom Center

Panathinaikos removed a banner featuring Dejan Bodiroga from the Telecom Center Athens as a protest. This action was a reaction to the refereeing in the EuroLeague derby against Olympiacos, where Olympiacos emerged victorious.

The banner depicts Dejan Bodiroga lifting the EuroLeague trophy, which Panathinaikos won in 2000 in Thessaloniki, defeating Maccabi Tel Aviv with a score of 73-67.

This isn't the first time such an issue has been raised. Last year, during the playoffs against Anadolu Efes, D. Giannakopoulos had requested the banner's removal after a foul on Kendrick Nunn was not called.
