Olympiacos Honors Victims of Gate 7 Tragedy

Olympiacos team, including presidents Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos and coach Giorgos Bartzokas, honored the memory of the victims of the Gate 7 tragedy at SEF.

Before the Euroleague game against Virtus Bologna, a team delegation laid roses at Gate 7 of the Karaiskakis Stadium, in front of a banner displaying the faces of the 21 victims.

Daniel Hackett, a former Olympiacos player, also participated in the tribute.

The event took place a few days before the 45th anniversary of the tragedy, on February 8.
