Dzanan Musa: Surgery Before Eurobasket, Participation in Doubt

Dzanan Musa underwent surgery in Munich due to abdominal discomfort, casting doubt on his participation in EuroBasket 2025 with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Bosnian national team leader traveled to Munich after experiencing severe pain and underwent immediate surgery. Bosnia will participate in Group C of EuroBasket 2025 alongside Cyprus, Greece, Georgia, Spain, and Italy.

According to Radio Sarajevo, doctors are optimistic about his recovery. Musa is expected to return to Bosnia on August 16. The decision regarding his participation will be made in consultation with the medical staff of the Bosnian national team and Dubai BC.

A statement from the player's staff stated that Dzanan Musa wishes to do everything possible to participate in EuroBasket, if his recovery allows, but his participation remains uncertain.

The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina has departed for Belgium, where they will participate in a tournament.
