Nadir Hifi: 'Brothers, go get the gold at Eurobasket!'

Nadir Hifi, after being cut from the French squad for EuroBasket, sent a message of support to the team. Frédéric Fauthoux announced the final twelve, leaving out Hifi and Vincent Poirier.

Hifi, a player for Paris, stated via his personal X account: 'It was very difficult for me to leave the French team. I am proud to have been able to represent France with a special team. Good luck to you brothers, go get the gold.'

France is participating in the fourth group of EuroBasket in Poland, where they will face Belgium, Slovenia, Israel, Poland, and Iceland. In the previous tournament, France was defeated in the final by Spain. They last won the trophy in 2013 with Tony Parker.
