Beverley: "Coming to PAOK was the right decision"

Patrick Beverley stated he was vindicated in his decision to join PAOK, following his debut and the 106-88 victory over Panionios in the Basket League.

"I'm very happy with how we played today. I was told a lot about the team's fans, they were excellent," Beverley said, emphasizing the energy and passion in the stadium.

The American guard added that he watched team games before coming and knows coach ZDovc. "The culture of PAOK is a fight! I'm a fighter from the day I was born, so this is the perfect place to be!" he characteristically said.

Referring to his performance, with 7 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists, he commented: "I think I did pretty well. We also won by 20 points so we are all happy."
