Bartzokas: It's paradoxical to consider Olympiacos a favorite while seeing them as deficient

Olympiacos coach Giorgos Bartzokas spoke about Keenan Evans' condition, the game against Monaco, and the EuroLeague power rankings.

Referring to his team, he emphasized: "You will never hear us say that we are the top favorite or that we want to conquer the EuroLeague. We want to improve every day and we strongly believe in our material and the club's know-how."

About the game against Monaco, he said: "They are one of the most difficult teams in the EuroLeague, with players like Mirotic, Nedovic, and James. We need to be effective and stick to our plan."

Regarding training sessions, he commented: "Training sessions are becoming extinct in European basketball due to continuous games."

About Keenan Evans, he mentioned: "He is entering the final stage of his recovery and will join the team training. From there on, it is a matter of rhythm and form."

Regarding the power rankings, he stated: "It is a paradoxical situation to consider us the top favorite while there is pressure that Olympiacos is deficient."
