AEK Invests in its Academy for the Future of Basketball

AEK's Academy is making significant progress, confirming the systematic work being done in its infrastructure. With the AEK BC Academy Sports Center, AEK has created an ideal environment for the development of its young talents.

Since the summer of 2024, the team has emphasized the production process and infrastructure departments, with the number of children in the AEK BC Academy exceeding 200. The hard work is also reflected on the court, with the Academy making steady progress.

At the Rising Stars tournament in Patras, AEK won third place, improving on last year's performance. Coach Kalogirou has managed to maximize the potential of each player. Players such as Charis Bilionis, Vasilis Ioannou, Pournaras and Fytros stood out.

In addition, AEK's youth team is in first place in the ESKA championship, while the boys' team is in second place. AEK is creating a strong base for the future staffing of the men's team.
