Ataman Misses Press Conference Due to Illness

Panathinaikos coach Ergin Ataman did not attend the post-game press conference following the match against Fenerbahce due to illness. His assistant, Christos Serelis, took his place.
Panathinaikos lost to Fenerbahce with a basket by Wade Baldwin at the buzzer, inside the Telekom Center.
Christos Serelis stated: "It was a tough loss. It was an important game for us, we wanted it. We played against an excellent opponent like Fenerbahce. For 30 minutes we played the defense we wanted, but in the fourth quarter we conceded 29 points and with some bad shots at the end we lost in a bitter way. We have to continue. We have a game in 2-3 weeks in the EuroLeague. Now we have the league and the Cup ahead of us."
Regarding Kendrick Nunn, he said: "I won't say that he made bad choices because of fatigue... In the end, you usually go with the players who are going to finish the game. We will discuss everything and see for the future."
For Nigel Hayes-Davis, he noted: "He is a great player who will help us in many areas... this player will give us something extra to attack and find solutions."
