European Athletics U20 Championships: Samolada and Tzelepis Close to a Medal

Vasiliki Samolada and Sarantis Tzelepis finished fourth at the European Athletics U20 Championships in Tampere, narrowly missing out on a medal.

Samolada, in the discus throw, had a best throw of 52.28m, while Tzelepis, in the long jump, set a personal best with 7.47m.

Rafaelia Giannoulidou finished 15th in the 400m hurdles, and Nikos Kosmopoulos was 17th in the decathlon with 7,023 points.
