Vince Neil, the 64-year-old frontman of Mötley Crüe, has revealed that he suffered a stroke last December while sleeping.

In an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Neil stated that the stroke occurred on Christmas Day, causing paralysis on the left side of his body. "I had to learn to walk again," he said.

In March, Mötley Crüe announced the postponement of their scheduled Las Vegas tour so that Neil could undergo surgery and recover. He followed an intensive physiotherapy program in Nashville, where he lives with his partner, Rain Hannah Andreani.

"From being carried to the bathroom because I couldn't walk on my own, I progressed to a wheelchair and then used a cane. Now I don't need anything," Neil described his recovery process. Despite initial doctors' estimates that he would not be able to return to the stage, Neil stated that he was determined to fully recover.

Neil admitted that he exercises intensely and has reached 90-95% of his previous physical condition.
