Jennifer Lopez: 'Ready to Give Up After Divorce from Marc Anthony'

Jennifer Lopez confessed that she considered abandoning her career after her divorce from Marc Anthony. The singer and actress, speaking at an event at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, revealed that the period after the split was particularly difficult.
As she said, she felt ready to give up everything, as she was a single mother with three-year-old twins. However, advice from self-help author Louise Hay encouraged her to continue. Hay told her to keep 'dancing,' comparing life to a dance where you have to keep going until you learn the right steps.
Lopez also referred to the help she received from Marc Anthony during their marriage, which lasted seven years. As she said, Anthony boosted her confidence and encouraged her not to let anyone underestimate her talent. After their separation, the two artists collaborated again for the Spanish-language album 'Por Primera Vez,' a collaboration that restored part of their relationship and made them friends again.
