Donald Trump has issued threats against Jimmy Kimmel following the cancellation of Stephen Colbert's show. Kimmel's criticism of Trump, with references to Jeffrey Epstein, sparked a reaction from the former president.

Kimmel, responding to the news of Colbert's show cancellation, posted a photo with his family at a protest against Trump, holding signs that read "Make America Good Again" and "Wish we had a better president." In the caption, he referenced a birthday card Trump allegedly wrote to Epstein in 2003.

Trump, via Truth Social, commented on the cancellation of Colbert's show and predicted that Kimmel would be the next to be fired, claiming he has less talent than Colbert. He also criticized Jimmy Fallon and expressed his preference for Greg Gutfeld.

The cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, expected to end in May 2026, followed Colbert's criticism of CBS's parent company, Paramount's, $16 million settlement with Trump. Senator Elizabeth Warren has called for an investigation into the matter.

Earlier, Kimmel had threatened legal action against Aaron Rodgers, who had falsely linked his name to Jeffrey Epstein.

Kimmel has been a vocal critic of Trump in the past, particularly on issues such as gun control and immigration.
