Taylor Swift: Top Artist of 2025 – The Numbers Behind the Triumph

Taylor Swift has been named the top-selling artist worldwide for 2025 by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). This marks the sixth time Swift has achieved this recognition.

The IFPI announced that Swift took the top spot, followed by Stray Kids and Drake. The ranking considers album and single sales, both in digital and physical formats, as well as streaming.

Swift's success in 2025 is attributed to the release of her 12th album, “The Life Of A Showgirl”, which broke sales records. Her relationship with Travis Kelce and the release of her documentary “The End of an Era” also played a significant role.
