Sabrina Carpenter, in an interview with Vogue Italia, discussed her mixed feelings about men, calling them a "funny species, in a good and bad way."

The singer, who released the album 'Man's Best Friend', expressed her bewilderment towards some men, while also stating that she is happy when she learns that a friend of hers will have a son, as she believes he will be raised properly.

In her songs, such as 'Manchild' and 'Tears', Carpenter explores the complexities of her relationships with men in an ironic and caustic way.

Carpenter stated that she came out of a difficult situation less bitter than she expected, as she realized that relationships are about two people and that maturing involves not being enemies with people you loved.

The Vogue Italia interview comes at a time when Carpenter is preparing for her debut at the Grand Ole Opry, her first appearance on Saturday Night Live, and her participation in Coachella in 2026.

Carpenter thanked her fans for their support, emphasizing that "they are really growing up together."
