A 32-year-old Russian woman, Mariana Barutkina, suffered a spinal fracture while attempting the viral 'Nicki Minaj stiletto challenge.' The challenge recreates a pose by the American rapper from her 'High School' music video (2013).

Barutkina, just 8 weeks postpartum, tried to balance on a kitchen counter while holding a can of baby formula. She lost her balance and fell on her back, resulting in a Th9 spinal fracture and requiring hospitalization.

Nicki Minaj, in a video she posted, clarified that the correct version of the pose requires 'both feet on the ground.'
