Loni Anderson, Legendary TV 'Receptionist,' Dies

Actress Loni Anderson, best known for her role as receptionist Jennifer Marlowe on the sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati, has died at the age of 79. Sheryl J. Kagan, the actress's publicist, stated that she passed away in a Los Angeles hospital after a prolonged illness.
Anderson also made headlines in Hollywood for her marriage and divorce from Burt Reynolds. They married in 1988 and divorced in 1994, with Anderson alleging abusive behavior by Reynolds.
In addition to WKRP in Cincinnati, Anderson starred in the comedy Stroker Ace and made appearances in series such as Nurses and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. In 1995, she released her autobiography, My Life in Heels.
Loni Anderson was married four times and had a daughter, Deidre, from her first marriage to Bruce Hasselberg.
