Paris Jackson, daughter of Michael Jackson, spoke about her six years of sobriety from alcohol and drugs. In a personal confession via Instagram, the 27-year-old described her journey as 'very difficult,' referring to the challenges she faced with her mental health.

In her post, Paris Jackson shared snapshots from her daily life, such as time with friends and hikes in nature. In the caption, she mentioned that sobriety doesn't mean a perfect life, but a learning process to live on one's own terms.

She also referred to the mental disorders she faces, such as depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress, and obsessive-compulsive disorder, sending a message of support to those facing similar situations: 'You are not alone. Hold on and, if no one told you today, I love you'.

Paris Jackson has spoken in the past about the importance of abstaining from substances, likening her experience to a car accident where everything she had suppressed came to the surface.
