ASAP Rocky Reveals: 'My Mom Wanted Me to Be with Rihanna'

ASAP Rocky revealed that his mother encouraged him to pursue a relationship with Rihanna long before they became a couple. In an interview, the rapper mentioned that his mother believed Rihanna was the ideal partner for him, even though he saw her only as a friend.

ASAP Rocky and Rihanna met in the early 2010s, and their chemistry was evident. They collaborated on the remix of Rihanna's song 'Cockiness (Love It)' in 2012 and appeared together at the MTV Video Music Awards. Rihanna also participated in ASAP Rocky's music video for the song 'Fashion Killa' and chose him as the opening act on her Diamonds World Tour.
