Mariah Carey: Request for King Charles at Sandringham

Mariah Carey has revealed an unexpected request she plans to make to King Charles when she appears at Sandringham. The 56-year-old star will perform at the monarch's estate as part of the Heritage Live festival, alongside Nile Rodgers & Chic and Eternal.
Speaking on Capital Xtra radio, Mariah Carey initially said she had no request for the king, as she "didn't want to bother him." However, when the presenter urged her to make some requests, he suggested, "Abolish taxes, abolish congestion charges, immediately."
Carey replied, laughing, "And you think he's going to give it to you?" Finally, she said she would ask, but "she'll say the presenter asked her to," emphasizing that she is "serious" about the request.
During her stay in the United Kingdom, the singer is reportedly paying over £250,000 for her hotel. According to the Sun, she is staying in the top-floor suite of the Corinthia Hotel in London, with a rooftop terrace, wine cellar, private spa, and lounge with a fireplace, costing around £20,000 a night.
The star appeared at Brighton Pride last weekend after arriving on her private jet. On August 15, she will take to the stage at Sandringham for Heritage Live's big outdoor live shows.
