Chris Martin has assured fans that the 'kiss cam' at Coldplay live shows will not be abolished, despite a recent viral incident involving alleged infidelity by company executives.

During the 'Music of the Spheres' world tour in Hull, England, the Coldplay frontman addressed the incident where former Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron, appeared to be cheating on his wife with the company's former head of human resources, Kristin Cabot, at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.

The 48-year-old singer told the audience: 'We've been doing this for a long time, and it just recently became... yeah. Life throws you lemons and you've got to make lemonade. So we're going to keep doing it because we want to meet some of you.'

Following the video's release, Andy's wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, removed her last name from Facebook before deleting her profile. Byron resigned from Astronomer, which condemned the behavior.

Later, Cabot was photographed without her wedding ring. Byron's neighbors described the alleged infidelity scandal as 'disgusting'.
