Katy Perry: Near Accident with Flying Prop at Concert – Video

Katy Perry experienced a scary moment on stage when a flying prop malfunctioned during her concert in San Francisco.

Specifically, on Friday, July 18, the 40-year-old singer was on a giant artificial butterfly when the structure experienced a mechanical malfunction in the air, just before falling towards the audience at the Chase Center.

In a video released on TikTok, Katy Perry was singing her hit song “Roar” when the butterfly stopped and moved erratically towards the audience. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Security and technical staff rushed backstage, while Katy Perry continued to sing.
