Wendy Williams Denies Dementia Rumors, Friends Say She's Like Her Old Self

Wendy Williams is denying reports that she suffers from dementia, with friends confirming that she “seems like her old self.” According to sources close to her, the presenter is optimistic about the future and aims to be free from her conservatorship by winter.
In a recent encounter with a New York Post photographer, Williams stated that her lawyers are “extremely upset” with the publications regarding her health. When asked about the conservatorship, she referred to her lawyers, Alan Diamond and Joe Tacopina.
Joe Tacopina assured that “her cognitive abilities are absolutely intact” and expressed confidence that she will be released from the conservatorship. A source mentioned that Williams is careful with her statements so as not to be exposed to the commissioner.
Williams joked with reporters, asking, “Do I sound like I have dementia to you?”. Her goal is to return to New York and enjoy life's simple pleasures.
