Eric Dane: Cause of Death Announced

The cause of death of actor Eric Dane has been announced, a few days after his passing at the age of 53.

According to foreign reports, Dane passed away due to respiratory failure, with the underlying cause being amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Dane had revealed his ALS diagnosis in April 2025, emphasizing his gratitude for his family's support and his desire to continue working, mentioning his return to the set of the series "Euphoria".

Eric Dane's family announced his death on Thursday, February 19.
