Emily in Paris: Lily Collins changes her look in Season 5

Season 5 of Emily in Paris brings changes to the appearance of the protagonist, Lily Collins. After four seasons with long brown hair, the actress decided to adopt a sleek bob.

Jill Martin from TODAY traveled to Venice and spoke with Collins about the change. The actress stated that the series' costume designer, Marylin Fitoussi, is inspired by the haircut to create the next season's wardrobe.

This change is more dramatic than the bangs Emily cut in Season 3. Collins admitted that she wouldn't have thought of it earlier, but her hairstylist Gregory Russell convinced her to try it.

Season 5 of the series premieres on December 18.
