Dominic McLaughlin: 12-Year-Old Chosen for Harry Potter Role

Dominic McLaughlin, a 12-year-old boy from Glasgow, has been chosen to play Harry Potter in the television adaptation of J. K. Rowling's books by #HBO. He was selected from among 32,000 children.

The production stated that McLaughlin "embodied Harry Potter from the first moment." The first photo of McLaughlin with the characteristic scar and Hogwarts robe has already been released, receiving positive reactions from fans.

The young actor has experience from drama school and has participated in theatrical performances. He has also appeared in the #BBC series #Gifted and will star in the film "Grow."
