Pompeii: 2,000-Year-Old Weapon with Machine Gun Function Discovered

Archaeologists in Pompeii have discovered traces of a 2,000-year-old weapon that launched successive projectiles, similar to a modern machine gun. The discovery was made on the city walls and suggests that this mechanism, which until now was mainly considered theoretical, was likely real.
Pompeii continues to reveal surprises, thanks to its preservation after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
