Scientist Karl Kruszelnicki claims that the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle is due to coincidences, human errors, and bad weather.

The area, located between Florida, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda, is one of the busiest sea and air routes. Increased traffic and tropical storms increase the chances of accidents.

Kruszelnicki stated that the disappearance rate in the area is no higher than the global average, according to Lloyd's of London and the US Coast Guard.

A well-known incident is Flight 19, where five American bombers disappeared in 1945. Historian Larry Kusche attributed the disappearances to bad weather conditions and human error.

Despite scientific explanations, conspiracy theories about the Bermuda Triangle persist.
