Artemis II Mission Breaks Earth Distance Record

The astronauts of the Artemis II mission broke the record for distance from Earth, according to an announcement by NASA.
The crew, consisting of Americans Christina Koch, Victor Glover, Reid Wiseman, and Canadian Jeremy Hansen, exceeded 4171 kilometers in space.
Thus, they break the record of the Apollo 13 mission of 1970, which had reached a similar distance due to an emergency change of course.
The Artemis II mission is expected to move even further away.
