9-Year-Old Aiden Becomes Youngest Neuroscience Student in the US

Aiden Wilkins, 9, has become the youngest neuroscience student in the US, enrolling in a neuroscience course at Ursinus College in Pennsylvania. He is also in the second grade at Reach Cyber Charter School.
Aiden attends college classes three days a week and aims to become a pediatric neurosurgeon, wishing to help children with neurological disabilities.
His mother, Veronica, reports that Aiden was reading road signs at the age of two and was self-taught in reading. Aiden already has preferences for the future: "The schools I prefer are Johns Hopkins and Princeton."
Ursinus College is in the top 15% of American undergraduate colleges on the Princeton Review list.
