Peter Arnett, Legendary War Correspondent, Dies

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and war correspondent Peter Arnett has died at the age of 91 after battling prostate cancer.
Arnett won the Pulitzer Prize in 1966 for his coverage of the Vietnam War for the Associated Press. He died in Newport Beach, surrounded by friends and family.
As a correspondent for the AP, he covered Vietnam from 1962 to 1975. He became widely known in 1991, reporting live for CNN from Iraq during the first Gulf War.
Arnett secured controversial interviews with Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden. He also worked for NBC and National Geographic.
In 2007, he became a journalism professor at Shantou University in China.
