Carlo Acutis: First Millennial Saint of the Catholic Church

Carlo Acutis, an Italian of British origin, was declared a saint by the Catholic Church in a ceremony at the Vatican. Approximately 70,000 faithful attended the ceremony in St. Peter's Square, where Pope Leo XIV performed the canonization.
Acutis, who died of leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15, is known for using his programming skills to create websites to spread the faith. His story has inspired many young Catholics.
